We're real foodies at Cut By Beam. And we're spoilt rotten by living and working in Cornwall where there are so many fantastic local growers, cafés and restaurants.
We also get to work with some of these awesome businesses, when they commission our lasers to create their signs and menus, or etch on to kitchen equipment and tableware.
This week our friends at the wonderful 45 Queen Street in Penzance, asked us to mark their logo on to a large batch of elm tapas boards. We think the branding elevates these beautiful boards to another level.
You've probably seen the etches our new metal marking machine can do on knives. But if you haven't watched this recent video of some we did for Pareusi, check it out here. Their knives are found in some of the most famous kitchens across the land. So a little bit of Cornwall magic finds its way throughout the world!
Signage and menus really set the tone of a café or restaurant and we've done a lot over the years. From A frames to table menus like those below, we can always work to your budget and style. From one off bespoke pieces to batches of items.
Supplying the outlets mentioned above are also some fabulous local farmers and growers. Such as Soul Farm near Mylor who sell their produce to local businesses. We've etched them enamel mugs as well as some for a local market at Tregew Farm.
And for the next generation of budding chefs check out these spatulas which Truro High School asked us to etch as awards for their students' Go Cook workshops.
Main photo above of signage done for Kern - the mobile food truck which sells delicious cakes, ice cream and coffee.
